C. Wonder LLC Bankruptcy New Filing Alert: Order Regarding The Motion For Authority To Pay Claims Of Employees

On February 6, 2015, an order regarding the motion for authority to pay claims of employees was filed in the bankruptcy case of C. Wonder LLC and its affiliates.

The filing was assigned docket number 93 and is described on the court’s official docket as follows:

Order Authorizing the Debtors to Pay Severance to Employees in Connection with Store Closings (related document:[16] Motion re: Pursuant to Sections 363 and 503 of the Bankruptcy Code, to the Extent Applicable, (A) Authorizing the Debtors to Continue Going Out of Business Sales and Store Closings, (B) Waiving Compliance with Contractual Store Closing Sale Restrictions, (C) Authorizing the Debtors to Pay Severance to Employees in Connection with Store Closings, and (D) Granting Other Related Relief Filed by Michael D. C. Wonder LLC filed for bankruptcy protection, or had an involuntary bankruptcy petition filed against it, on January 22, 2015. The bankruptcy case is pending before the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey. The case number for the lead bankruptcy case is 15-11127. The bankruptcy case is currently assigned to United States Bankruptcy Judge Michael Kaplan. The law firm of Cole, Schotz, Meisel, Forman & Leonard, P.A. is acting as lead bankruptcy counsel to C. Wonder LLC in the bankruptcy case.
