Edison Mission Energy  Bankruptcy New Filing Alert: Motion For A Protective Order/To File A Pleading Under Seal

On January 7, 2015, a motion for a protective order/to file a pleading under seal was filed in the bankruptcy case of Edison Mission Energy  and its affiliates.

The filing was assigned docket number 2544 and is described on the court’s official docket as follows:

Edison Mission Energy  filed for bankruptcy protection, or had an involuntary bankruptcy petition filed against it, on December 17, 2012. The bankruptcy case is pending before the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois . The case number for the lead bankruptcy case is 12-49219. The bankruptcy case is currently assigned to United States Bankruptcy Judge Jacqueline Cox. The law firm of Kirkland & Ellis LLP is acting as lead bankruptcy counsel to Edison Mission Energy  in the bankruptcy case.
