Underground Energy, Inc.  filed for bankruptcy protection, or had an involuntary bankruptcy petition filed against it, on March 4, 2013. The bankruptcy case is pending before the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California . The case number for the lead bankruptcy case is 13-10563. The bankruptcy case is currently assigned to United States Bankruptcy Judge Robin Riblet. The law firm of Nordman Cormany Hair & Compton LLP is acting as lead bankruptcy counsel to Underground Energy, Inc.  in the bankruptcy case.
